GUIDELINES FOR THE AERIAL POLE SPORTS TOURNAMENT

He AERIAL POLE SPORTS TOURNAMENT It is part of the Azul Fest technical program, which focuses on highlighting the precision, strength, and body control of participants. These rules are designed to assess the skills required to execute figures, combinations, and sequences on a vertical tube, whether fixed or rotating, with the highest technical demands.

In this tournament, artists have the opportunity to demonstrate their skill and physical preparation through movements that prioritize proper use of the core, stability, fluid transitions, and clean execution of figures.

Our goal is to provide a competitive environment where each participant can focus on technical, expressive, and physical development, always respecting the limits appropriate for each level. Complexity and risk will be present, but always supported by technique, control, and safety as fundamental pillars.

This category focuses on the correct execution of mandatory elements and technical progression based on the declared level.

Fundamental pillars of the Aerial Pole Sports Tournament:

Technique and Execution: Priority is given to proper body alignment, precise use of hand and foot grips, and overall clean execution. Control in the entry, development, and exit of each movement will be essential for scoring.

Progressive Difficulty: Each level (Amateur and Professional) It establishes a technical standard appropriate to the participant's level of experience. The goal is for difficulty to match the athlete's progress, without compromising technique or safety.

Resistance and Transitions: The competitor's ability to sustain figures without losing control will be evaluated, as well as the fluidity and rhythm of transitions between elements. Sequences are expected to be continuous, without unnecessary pauses.

Compliance with Safety Standards: Routines must comply with the specific safety regulations for Aerial Pole, avoiding actions that endanger the physical integrity of the participant. The descent must be performed safely and in a controlled manner.

Objectivity in Evaluation: The jury will award scores based on objective criteria, prioritizing correct execution, the actual difficulty of the technical content, and the athlete's stability on the bar or during hanging figures.

The rules and evaluation criteria are designed to support the athlete's growth, ensuring that each step is supported by precision and stability. Particular emphasis will be placed on inversion control, clean transitions, and efficient use of the apparatus, while not yet requiring high-risk combinations.

The goal is to consolidate a solid technical foundation, with a clean, fluid, and well-connected stage design that will prepare the athlete for future, more demanding competitive events.
