GUIDELINES OF THE ARTISTIC TOURNAMENT:

He TARTISTIC ORNAMENT It is our flagship proposal in Azul Fest, a space designed to highlight creativity, storytelling, and performance at their finest. This tournament focuses on artists' ability to convey emotions and stories, blending aerial techniques with a unique stage approach.

In it Artistic TournamentWe invite you to immerse yourself in the story you want to tell and express your emotions through a unique combination of movement, music, and visual storytelling. This tournament prioritizes artistic skills, such as dramatization, theatrics, and stage performance, over the technical difficulty of tricks.

Our goal is to highlight the creativity and emotional connection of each artist, allowing technique to be a support for the narrative, not the central axis.

Here you can use the element you prefer, whether it is Fabric, Lira, Trapeze, Aerial Hammock or any of the so-called New Elements, as Straps, Strings, Cubes, Chains, among others. The choice of element will be key to reinforcing your narrative and creativity, allowing you to explore new forms of expression in your performance.

2. DEFINITION OF THE ARTISTIC TOURNAMENT

He Artistic Tournament combines visual, audio, and stage elements to create a unique proposal. The pillars of this category are:

Visual and Sound Narrative: Movements, music, and recorded storytelling work together to convey a message or emotion.

Ground-Element Connection: The transitions between ground and air elements are fluid and aligned with the narrative.

Mandatory Recorded Story: This element reinforces the atmosphere and gives emotional depth to the proposal, integrated directly into the music.

Stage Expression: The ability to convey emotions through the body and interpretation.

Originality and Creativity: Innovation in the use of space, movement, and narrative elements is essential.

3. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

To participate in the Artistic Tournament, the performance must meet the following requirements:

1. Mandatory Recorded Story (Integrated into the Music):

Must be included in the music track submitted by the participant.

It should not explain the choreography or detail the narrative, but rather complement it with an emotional or conceptual tone.

Example: A voice saying “The forest holds secrets that only the wind can reveal,” in a choreography that simulates a journey through a natural landscape.

2. Soil-Element Connection:

Transitions between movements on the ground and in the air should be organic, fluid, and contribute to the narrative.

Example: A character representing a butterfly could start on the ground, pretending to be trapped, before “flying” into the air element.

3. Narrative Props:

Props must be integrated into the narrative of the performance.

Example: An umbrella could symbolize protection or vulnerability depending on the context, used both on the ground and in the air.

4. Stage Expression:

Movements, facial expressions, and attitude should be aligned with the character or story.

Example: An act about mourning would include slow, expressive movements, with a face that conveys introspection and melancholy.
